We will focus on achieving real meaningful change for Africa’s pastoralists through three key objectives:
Empower pastoral communities by providing access to financial and insurance services.
Build the resilience of pastoralists by linking them to our regional wide networks and private sector partnerships.
Create sustainable livelihoods through the design and development of innovative solutions within the pastoral ecosystem.

Our Team
Ms. Kyambi Kavali
Chief Executive Officer
Has over 20 years of experience within the humanitarian and finance sectors in Africa. Grew up in the semi-nomadic region of Eastern Kenya. She believes that a food secure Africa can become a reality through the empowerment of pastoralist communities.
Ms. Farhia Abdikadir
Chief Information Officer
Has more than a decade of experience in the tech sector. She hails from the pastoralist region of Galmudug and is passionate about the inclusive socio-economic development of pastoralists in Africa through the use of data and technology.
Ms. Rukia Warsame
Chief Financial Officer
Has almost a decade of experience in the fintech space and is a native of the arid, pastoralist region of Galmudug in Somalia. Dreams of an inclusive pastoralist community that is resilient and economically empowered.
Mr. Roderick Charters
Chief Operations Officer
Has spent the last 20 years in Africa running humanitarian and development projects that directly impact pastoralist communities in the continent. He is passionate about climate resilience & the development of African solutions for the people of Africa.
